Apollo von Amberger is a large classic looking 3 year old German Shepherd. He has a beautiful thick coat; he is big boned and has the straighter back people prefer. He is housebroken and very quiet in the house, he did like to follow the 22 year old son around the house and sleep at the foot of the bed.  Apollo doesn’t get up on furniture and is very well mannered. He is left outside when the family would leave; he isn’t a barker, except when he would see the neighbor’s cat. He doesn’t dig or jump. Apollo is good on the leash and wouldn’t pull, if he started to bark at a dog across the street, just a quick correction would focus him back on his walk. Apollo came from the same person originally as Athena and could be placed as a pair. Apollo is perfectly happy being an only dog so that isn’t a problem either. Apollo was adopted and is being returned because the 22 year old doesn’t have the time to spend with Apollo he thought he had. We want to find a home for Apollo quickly because we know his heart will be broken to be returned to the kennel.
